According to the National Environmental Protection Act, KDOT had to complete
this Environmental Assessment and Section 4(f) Evaluation document for the K-61
Project. The Environmental Assessment and Section 4(f) Evaluation documents
specified the possible social, economic and environmental effects of the
improvements. These documents were made available to the public for comments on
March 24, 2004. Below you can read the main document and review the supporting
